The defining feature of this elite Para Military 2 is its blade, which is precision machined from CPM CRU-WEAR—an air-hardening tool steel specially formulated to offer both superior wear resistance and toughness. Created by Crucible® Industries, CRU-WEAR's unique alloy composition allows it to excel in applications that require greater wear resistance than D2, more toughness than M2 high speed steel, or both. The CRU-WEAR used in the blade of this knife is further enhanced by the Crucible Particle Metallurgy (CPM) process, which ensures an ultra-fine, highly homogeneous grain structure that maximizes the performance potential of the steel. Proudly featuring a fully accessible Trademark Round Hole™ for swift, ambidextrous, one-handed opening, the Plain Edge™ blade of this knife is full-flat ground and satin finished for superior Edge geometry and low-friction cutting performance. It is housed in a handle constructed with nested stainless steel liners and smooth black G-10 scales.
