- AXIS® A branded Benchmade exclusive, AXIS has actually already been turning heads and winning fans from the time its introduction. A 100-percent ambidextrous build, AXIS gets its features from a small, hardened steel bar which rides forward and back in a slot machined into both metallic liners.
